Van Ripper Frightens Sleepy Hollow Notary During “After-Hours” Visit

Sleepy Hollow’s Notary gets chilly after-hours visit from Braughton Van Ripper.
Late Fall, Sleepy Hollow – Inquiring for a second time, sources say, about the terms of Brom’s last will and testament…and the validity of Icharus Crane’s claim earlier in the day…Braughton Van Ripper frightens Sleepy Hollow’s Notary, Heinrich Vandercleef, with a spontaneous, after dark visit.
Disturbed by Icharus Crane’s suspicious claim of business between his father Ichabod and Abraham Van Brunt, Van Ripper says he has hopes Notary Vandercleef might be aware of some possibility of any such business Brom might have had with the elder Crane…of which Vandercleef admits no knowledge.
But sources say Vandercleef took extra care with locking up his office for the night, double-checking the place was secured against possible intruders.
