Sleepy Hollow Psychic/Prophet “Sees” Headless Horseman

Another dire prediction for the residents of Sleepy Hollow? Callum Mather’s inexplicable gift of prophecy asserts itself shortly after the burial of the town’s much loved Brom Bones, leaving citizens wary and watchful.
Late Fall, Sleepy Hollow – Just outside the church where Sleepy Hollow residents gathered to wave farewell to the Reverend and Mistress Von Groot following the interment of Abraham Van Brunt, the locals were treated to a rare but not unusual spectacle.
Callum Mather, Sleepy Hollow prophet/psychic once again whispered dire predictions for the town, speaking of a crane in flight, a raven being forced from hiding, and of an imminent ride from the mad Hessian of Sleepy Hollow otherwise known as the “Headless Horseman”.
Such a prognostication would normally be ignored by the people of Sleepy Hollow, but coming as it did from Mather whose visions are known to be true glimpses into the future, today’s omen caused a great deal of unrest in the town.
Mather’s previous prediction some three years hence of a “fire” burning through the village made itself manifest in the form of a virulent fever that swept through the Hollow, claiming the lives of a great portion of Sleepy Hollow’s residents, among them the lovely Katrina Van Brunt and her unborn child.
Will Mather’s latest prediction come true? No one will say for certain, but local residents are wary despite admonitions from one Braughton Van Ripper who insists the Headless Horseman is nothing more than a figment of imagination.
